ABOUT EDI
If you followed the live music scene in Atlanta, GA for the last three years of the 2010’s, there is a strong chance that you or someone you know has seen or heard of Edi Callier.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Edward William Callier, III is an independent pop/soul recording artist, soulful singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, entertainer, producer, and more.
He rapidly made a name for himself and built his "#EdiNation" fan base through his genre-bending brand of music, commanding stage presence, extraordinary musicianship, and his distinguishably smooth yet passionate vocals.
He’s been seen on social media as @officiallyedi, as an opener for Grammy® Award-winning artist Tank, Gary “Lil G” Jenkins of Silk, as a co-headliner for the 2017 Prince tribute concert in Centennial Olympic Park with Janet Jackson’s drummer Lil’ John Roberts, a headliner for the Collard Greens Music Festival (2017-2019), Sweet Auburn Music Festival (2017-2019), Taste of Soul Music Festival Atlanta (2019), on the Apollo Theater stage and on the first season of the FOX Television show,
“The Four”.
In 2020, he began preparing for his first national tour but amidst the Covid-19 crisis, all of his dates were cancelled. Given a newfound abundance of time, he began chipping away at his recorded music and in the process of a week, he'd written, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered his long awaited debut EP, 'LOVE: the eXperience, Vol. 1' and on May 1st, 2020, it was released to the world.
Below, you'll find the music behind the man.
